Sino-US Cooperative Program of Urban Gardening

 

The program of Urban Gardening (Sino-US Cooperation) is a high-level special education program collaboratively organized by Shanghai Urban Construction Vocational College (SUCC) and the State University of New York at Cobleskill (SUNY Cobleskill), and has been started in September 2010.

 

The program of Urban Gardening (Sino-US Cooperation) aims at cultivating high-tech application professional talents with garden plant cultivation and conservation, plant production and management capabilities, with floral environment decoration, small garden plant landscaping, scenic plant planting design and plant styling skills, and adapting to word demands for plant cultivation and maintenance management, floral decoration and small courtyard design.

 

After graduating, students can choose to work in China or continue their undergraduate studies at SUNY Cobleskill.

 

The skill certificates include College English Test Band-4 (CET-4) Certificate, University Computer Test 1(CCT-1) Certificate, Certificates for Intermediate and Advanced Landscaping Staff Vocational Skills, Certificate for Senior Flower Gardening Workers, etc.
