The first Shanghai Vocational Skills Competition launched at the Shanghai Automobile Exhibition Center (SAEC) on April 22-23. SUCC has a total of 7 projects in the principal division of SAEC, including floral art, fine carpentry, plumbing and heating, digital construction, mobile robotics, industry 4.0 and robotics system integration projects. Liu Fuling, the deputy dean of the School of Civil & Transportation Engineering of SUCC, was the Division Manager of Structures and Building Technology for the competition.

In the afternoon of April 21, Ye Yinzhong, the president of SUCC, visited the exhibition center to see participants and instructors, asking them in detail about their preparation and logistic support. He also encouraged them to be calm, bring the best in them and strive for good performance in the competition. The participants said they would try their best to live up to the expectations of SUCC and show the achievements of their skills education with full enthusiasm and high morale.
